Completion: 2003

A new research building has been established on the "scientific-technical" campus in Jena-Beutenberg. According to the natural topography the courtyard is graded with several levels along the slope. Green Terraces are offering various spatial experiences and offer a new view onto the surroundings.
Planting and materials are emphasizing the clean elegance of the architecture, the site furniture has almost entirely been specifically designed for this site. Along the main axis, a "Band of Bamboo" is leading from entry plaza right into the building.
