Martinique's horse racing track is undergoing a complete renewal. Apart from the extension of the bleachers and stables, the show ring, paddock and other functional areas are being reorganized. At the access road 500 new parking spaces are being built. Emphasizing the flair of the tropical hippodrome, the new main entrance is designed as a "vegetal portal". Royal Palms (Roystonea ssp.), Bird-of-Paradise (Strelitzia reginae) and Bougainvillea (Bougainvillea ssp.) are creating a distinctive atmosphere for each functional area.
