Moritzburg (Sachs.), 2009

In the course of renovation of the two squire houses at Moritzburg palace garden the open spaces in the immediate building environment were restored under consideration of preservation aspects. Archaeological excavations in the gardens provided insights into the positions and levels of the baroque pathway system.

This measure was the first part of the pleasure garden‘s restoration.
