Konzeption zur Bergbaufolgelandschaft am Störmthaler See

Großpösna, 2002

Through successive flooding of former surface coal mining sites in southern Leipzig, an entirely new lakeland was developed. On its south-western shoreline, called the Gruna Peninsula, the Störmthaler See (lake Störmthal) is offering ideal conditions for sports and recreation. Here, a water sports centre for the Saxon Canoe Association including an olympic-size regatta-course and service facilities were planed.
