Berlin-Spandau
In the immediate vicinity of the Spandau Citadel, directly on the Spree, the commercial campus "The Hub" is being developed. As part of the green campus, a public park with lots of spontaneous vegetation and insect-friendly meadows will extend along the banks of the Spree. Rainwater will be stored in infiltration troughs, tree trenches and water columns. The green roofs of the buildings will be used for energy generation and recreational purposes.
